Yale!

Coffee and a copy of the Yale Daily News -a perfect start to a Gilmore Girls inspired Yale visit. Rain has been the status quo for our weather in this part of the country, but it hasn't dampened our spirit of adventure.
I entertained myself by photographing the mythological creatures adorning buildings at Yale :) You have to love a place with unicorns on the buildings.
We made sure to obey the rules of the town.
It didn't take long for us all to want to go to Yale when we grow up.
I started to wonder if perhaps we really ended up at Hogwarts.
What you can't hear is the heated debate about who's turn it is to hold the umbrella -but maybe we should just remember them looking cute ;)
While we waited for 11:00 and stores to open, we set out on a hunt for the grave of Oliver Winchester -inventor of the repeating rifle. After and hour of searching, lots of winding cemetery roads, and on call mapquest and google help from Vic. we finally located the grave -a boon for Richard who is planning a history fair project around Mr. Winchester and his innovative contribution to history.
We couldn't leave without Yale attire for all those nights of Gilmore Girls watching.
Proof that Yale is cooler than other places on Earth.
The Peabody Museum -lots and lots of dinosaurs.
The after party.
